TNPSC Child Development Project Officer Recruitment 2016 for 117 Vacant Posts: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has recently published an advertisement as TNPSC Recruitment 2016 for 117 Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Posts on its official website at www.tnpsc.gov.in. The Tamil Nadu PSC invites qualified and enthusiastic candidates for filling up 117 vacancies of Child Development Project Officer posts in December 2016. The Maximum Age of the candidate (Open/Unreserved category) must Not be more than 30 years.
No Upper Age Limitation for Reserved category candidates i.e. SC, ST, BC, etc.
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have completed Degree in Nutrition or Degree in Home Science or Degree with a PG Diploma in Rural Services of Gandhigram University.
Physical Fitness and Standard of Vision:
The candidate will have to provide Certificate of Physical Fitness as mentioned by TNPSC in Official Notification.
The candidate must have Standard III or Better in Vision.
Application Fee & Payment Mode:
The candidate will have to pay Rs.125/-+Rs.50/- as Examination Fee.
The Reserved category candidates need to pay Rs.50/- only.
The Application Fee should be paid through Demand Draft (DD) or Postal Order.
Process of Selection:
The candidate will be selected through following process:

Exam Paper I: 300 Marks
Exam Paper II: 200 Marks
Interview: 70 Marks
Qualifying Marks: 171 Marks for SC, ST, MBC/DC, BC(M), BC and 228 Marks for All Others.
Pay Scale:
The appointed candidates will be paid under Pay Scale of Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4500/- per month.
