Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test 2016:

MAHA TET 2016 Exam will be conducted by Maharashtra Higher Education Board / Council to select suitable Teachers for class I to V and VI to VIII at Government Schools in Maharashtra State. There are two papers of the TET. Paper I is for the candidates who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V and Paper II is for a person who intends to be a teacher for class VI to VIII. A person who intends to be a teacher either for class I to V or for classes VI to VIII will have to appear in both papers (paper I and Paper II).

• MAHA TET 2016 will be held for Paper I : 14.12.2016 (10:30 A.M to 01:00 P.M.) 
• MAHA TET 2016 will be held for Paper II : 14.12.2016 (02:30 P.M to 05:00 P.M.)

A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass. A person belonging to SC,ST,VJ,NT,OBC, differently abled persons, who scores 55% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.
