The Jharkhand Academic Council is going to conduct Teacher Eligibility Test (Jharkhand TET) 2016 for recruitment of 18000 vacant posts of Teachers in 2016. The Jharkhand Academic Council has released JAC TET 2016 Exam Pattern and Syllabus as under:

Jharkhand TET 2016 Exam Pattern:

There will be Two Papers in Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2016:
Paper I: Class I to V Primary Teacher
150 Questions and 150 Marks. The questions will be Multiple Choice Questions. The Time Allowed will be 90 Minutes.
Paper II: Class VI to VIII Elementary Teacher (TGT)
150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) containing 150 Marks with Time Allowed of 90 Minutes i.e One and Half Hour.

Jharkhand TET 2016 Syllabus:

Paper I:

• Child Development and Pedagogy: Primary School Child Development, Concept of Understanding Children with Special needs, Learning and Pedagogy.
• Language I: Language Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development.
• Language II: Comprehension, Language Development Pedagogy.
• Mathematics: Geometry, Numbers, LCM & HCF and many more. Pedagogical Issues in Mathematics.
• Environmental Studies: Surroundings, Natural Resources, Solar System, Water, Geographical features and changes and many more. Pedagogical Issues in Environmental Studies.

Paper II:

• Child Development and Pedagogy: Elementary School Child Development, Concept of Understanding Children with Special needs, Learning and Pedagogy.
• Language I: Language Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development.
• Language II: Comprehension, Language Development Pedagogy.
• Mathematics: Number System, Playing with Numbers, Whole Numbers, Fractions, Profit & Loss, Compound Interest and many more. Pedagogical Issues in Mathematics.
